Peter Baumann Discography | Tangerine Trios and Marmalade Skies

Peter Baumann is associated with the classic phase of Tangerine Dream, appearing on Zeit (1972) through Encore (1977). Beginning with Romance ’76, Baumann released several solo albums that moved in a progressively commercial/clubby direction. His first two albums are the most likely to please Tangerine Dream fans. On Repeat Repeat, Baumann added vocals, sounding more like Peter Schilling than the Peter Baumann of Phaedra and Stratosfear. In the mid 1980s, Baumann gave up solo recordings to become a studio producer for his Private Music label, producing artists such as Yanni, Ravi Shankar and Patrick O’Hearn.
